Internship

Problem

UI changes break automated tests even when the business flow still works. AxeHeal v1 heals only part of these breaks, and careless healing can hide a real bug.

Key tasks

• Audit and refactor AxeHeal v1, set baseline metrics, and add unit tests.
• Add healing levels: fingerprint, semantic, visual, smart sync, popups, and flow.
• Turn healings into permanent script fixes through automatic pull requests and a learning loop.
• Apply guardrails: never touch assertions; low confidence must fail instead of healing.

Success criteria

• Healing rate above the v1 baseline.
• False-healing rate near zero.
• Low overhead per healed step.
• Less script maintenance per ACP release.

Candidate profile

• Final-year software engineering student.
• Python, Selenium, DOM / XPath / CSS.
• OpenCV basics, Chrome DevTools Protocol, and LLM APIs are a plus.
• Rigorous and interested in clean code and measurable results.
