ENTER THE GAME 🎮

As a Legal & Compliance Intern, you will join the France Compliance team, whose role is to ensure that Betclic complies with the French legal and regulatory framework governing gambling.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC 🔥

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the management of mediation cases handled by the French Gambling Ombudsman.
• Assisting with litigation management in coordination with Betclic’s legal counsel.
• Monitoring regulatory and case law developments affecting the gambling industry.
• Preparing legal analyses and briefing notes on a range of legal issues.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 🔍

We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and enthusiasm.

This role is for you if:

• You are currently in the second year of a Master’s degree, enrolled at a French Bar School, or attending an IEJ.
• You have at least six months of experience, through an internship or work-study program, in consumer law or litigation.
• You have strong organizational skills, a curious mindset, and the motivation to learn and thrive in a collaborative, dynamic, and international work environment.
• You have a strong interest in gambling or sports.
• You speak English fluently.

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS? 📝

If your application is shortlisted, Elodie will contact you within a week for an initial 30-minute HR screening. You will then complete the AssessFirst assessment, which covers personality, motivation, and cognitive reasoning.

Next, you will meet Manon, Legal and Compliance Counsel and your future manager, followed by Alexandre, Compliance Manager.

Finally, Elodie will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results with you.

The recruitment process generally takes four to six weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
