Servier is replacing its packaging item management system with a new global platform for artwork and labelling management, ePALMS. Our medicines are distributed in more than 150 countries.

We are looking for an intern to work directly with the Data Migration & Governance Lead. You will help design the target data model, prepare and execute the migration, and establish the governance rules that will support the new system. This is hands-on work within an active, regulated programme.

Your responsibilities

• Map data and attributes from the legacy tool, SharePoint and shared drives to the target ePALMS data model.
• Profile, clean and consolidate legacy data by identifying duplicates, inconsistencies and obsolete items, correcting links and addressing gaps.
• Build and maintain data-loading templates, transformation rules and mapping documentation.
• Help define naming conventions, data ownership roles—including owners and stewards—and data quality rules.
• Track migration progress and data quality KPIs through Excel and Power BI dashboards.
• Participate in manual migration waves and quality checks, including reconciliation, sampling and subject-matter expert validation.
• Prepare workshop materials and document decisions in the decision log, risk register and gap register.
• Analyse how ePALMS connects with the Group’s other systems, including MDM, RIMS and SAP.

Your profile

Required skills

• Final-year Bac+5 student from an engineering school, business school or university, specialising in Data Management, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Pharmaceutical Engineering.
• Strong Excel skills, including Power Query, pivot tables and lookup functions. You enjoy structuring complex or unorganised data.
• Familiarity with data-modelling fundamentals, including entities, attributes, keys and reference data.
• Rigorous and detail-oriented, with the ability to work accurately in a regulated environment.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain data issues to a business audience.
• Professional proficiency in French and English.

Desirable skills

• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL or Python.
• Exposure to data governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, GxP or data integrity.
• Previous internship experience in an ERP, PLM or MDM project, or in a data migration programme.
