Description

Overview:

  • Department: Production – Quality – Continuous Improvement.
  • Objective: Implement the KOSU method on a pilot project to improve overall performance.

Responsibilities / Tasks:

  • Diagnose the current state of the pilot process and collect baseline data.
  • Analyze waste using Lean tools and implement the KOSU method on the selected pilot.
  • Measure results after implementation and propose improvements to reach targets.
  • Standardize and sustain improvements through documentation and follow-up.

Required Profile & Skills:

  • Profile: Industrial / Mechanical Engineering student with Lean knowledge.
  • Required skills: MS Office, Lean methodologies, Pareto and Ishikawa diagrams.

Expected Deliverables & Outcomes:

  • Current state diagnosis report with waste analysis and Pareto/Ishikawa findings.
  • Implementation plan and execution of the KOSU pilot with measurable KPIs.
  • Results measurement report and standardized procedures to sustain improvements.
  • Handover documentation for continuous improvement teams.

Practical Details & Number of Interns:

  • Duration: 06 Months (offered as a 4-6 months internship).
  • Number of interns: 02 interns to work on the pilot project.
