Job Description

Company: Framatome

Framatome is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a CFD Simulation Engineer. The primary focus of this role is to optimize the design of fuel assemblies by simulating thermal mixing of components using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).

Responsibilities:

  • Phase 1 – Validation on Complex Configurations:
  • Understand and build upon previous work done in 2025.
  • Apply CFD methodology to various types of mixing grids.
  • Compare numerical results with available experimental data to validate the methodology on more complex configurations.
  • Phase 2 – Adaptation to Near-Boiling Crisis Two-Phase Flow:
  • Enhance the methodology to adapt to near-boiling crisis conditions in two-phase flow.
  • Evaluate the performance of this new approach compared to other analysis methodologies in two-phase flow conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations.
  • Knowledge of thermal mixing and heat transfer processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

If you are passionate about simulation engineering and want to contribute to the advancement of nuclear technology, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at Framatome.
