Job Description: Research Assistant in Lung Pathology Imaging
Overview:
The project aims to address the challenges in diagnosing and treating lung pathologies by utilizing Spectral Photon Counting Scanner (SPCCT) technology and developing new contrast agents for improved imaging and treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new contrast agents for SPCCT imaging
- Design contrast agents for various routes of administration to image lung perfusion or ventilation
- Encapsulate drugs into nanoplatforms for enhanced treatment of lung pathologies
- Characterize formulations to determine physico-chemical properties
- Evaluate stability in physiological media and interactions with biomolecules
- Collaborate with a PhD student and cardiovascular radiologist for imaging efficiency evaluations

- Skills and knowledge in chemistry, formulation for health applications, and physicochemical analysis
- Motivated, curious, and autonomous
