Description

Job Description: Research Intern in 3D Printing Materials Development

Overview:

3D Printing (3DP) is a technology used to create complex objects with high precision, increasingly applied in various fields such as biomedicine and energy. This research project focuses on developing new materials for 3D printing by combining biopolymers and green solvents to enhance biocompatibility and biodegradability.

Responsibilities:

  • Test the printing capability of formulations containing a biocompatible monomer derived from acrylate with various Ionic Liquids (ILs) and Deep Eutectic Solvents (DES).
  • Evaluate the physico-chemical and rheological properties of the materials produced.
  • Incorporate biopolymers into the formulations to create biocompatible and biodegradable materials.

Requirements:

  • Background in materials science, chemistry, or related field.
  • Familiarity with 3D printing technologies is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Duration:

6-month internship.

Application:

To apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and interest in the project.
