Job Description

Position: Intern at PROPARCO

At PROPARCO's MAS division, the intern will be fully integrated into one of the three poles (Industry, Agriculture, Services) and will assist the business managers in identifying, processing, legally formalizing, and monitoring operations. The main tasks of the intern will include:

• Support in Identification and Processing:
• Contributing to drafting notes for internal committees
• Detailed financial analysis
• Financial modeling
• Risk analysis
• Market analysis
• Political and economic context analysis of the intervention country
• Impact analysis
• Assistance in Legal Formalization and Fund Disbursement
• Aiding in Operation Monitoring:
• Biannual review of operations
• Requesting waivers, etc.
• Participation in Sector Monitoring:
• Updating prospect, client, and partner databases
• Creating sector presentations
• Conducting studies on covered sectors
