Mission

  • Enhance security across our connected systems and cloud architecture, ensuring safe and reliable mobility solutions.
  • Implement and validate security controls spanning device connectivity, cloud services and update mechanisms.

You Will Learn

  • MQTT, HTTPS, and WebSocket security protocols and best practices for secure device communication.
  • Threat modeling and comprehensive vulnerability testing methodologies adapted to connected mobility.
  • OTA update security mechanisms and code signing to protect firmware integrity and delivery.
  • Cloud IAM, firewalling, and anomaly detection systems for protecting backend services and telematics.

Responsibilities & Activities

  • Perform threat modeling, carry out vulnerability assessments and propose mitigations for embedded and cloud components.
  • Design, implement and test secure OTA update flows including code signing and rollback protections.
  • Configure and evaluate cloud security controls: IAM policies, firewall rules, logging and anomaly detection.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into CI/CD and deployment pipelines; produce documentation and remediation reports.

Profile idéal / Who this is for

  • Security-minded developers with interest in protecting connected mobility infrastructure and embedded/IoT systems.
  • Familiarity or interest in networking protocols, cloud security concepts and secure software development practices is a plus.
  • Ability to test, reason about and communicate security risks across hardware, firmware and cloud layers.
