Project Overview
- The project involves the modeling of a robot and a hospital service using Gazebo/Ignition.
- The goal is to design and simulate a medical assistant robot capable of transporting medications, meals, or samples, and interacting safely in a hospital environment.
Technical Tasks
- Implement ROS2 along with SLAM/Nav2 for navigation between rooms and corridors.
- Simulate mission management and priorities (emergency, routine).
- Test safety measures and human obstacle detection.
- Validate scenarios including load, traffic, and simulated failures.
Key Skills Required
- Proficiency in ROS2 and SLAM/Nav2.
- Experience with Gazebo simulation.
- Knowledge of robotic safety protocols.
