PFE-03 EVENT PROJECT MANAGEMENT (PMO) PFE

Project overview

• PMO role for the "Africa Hackathon": coordination of actions across 10 African countries to deliver a seamless hybrid event.
• Ensure overall operational management including calendar (Gantt / rétro-planning), critical path tracking and anticipation of operational risks.

Main missions

• Manage the project calendar (Gantt / Retro-planning) and track critical-path items to ensure milestones are met.
• Lead online event execution as a priority, ensuring digital infrastructure stability while coordinating physical "Hacking Stations" (Partner Hubs).
• Manage jury committees, technical mentor schedules, sponsor relations and stakeholder coordination.
• Maintain progress dashboards for general management including Operational and Financial KPIs.

Required profile & skills

• Targeted profiles: Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Operations Management; profiles focused on complex logistics.
• Tools & competencies: project management tools (Jira, Notion, Trello), organisational rigor, crisis management.
• Experience: significant associative experience in organising major events is highly valued.

Deliverables & expected outcomes

• Stable online event platform and coordinated multi-site partner hubs for a smooth hybrid experience.
• Up-to-date dashboards and reports for Operational and Financial KPIs to inform general management.
• Clear schedules for jury, mentors and sponsors and a managed risk register with mitigation plans.
