Main Missions / Responsibilities
- Design and implement acquisition funnels for major events (e.g., Africa Hackathon) to maximize registrations and conversion.
- Configure transactional emailing and retargeting campaigns to improve registrant conversion rates and retention.
- Deploy and manage Student Ambassador programs (referral systems) inside target institutions to drive organic growth.
- Monitor daily performance metrics (Traffic, Cost per Lead, Retention) and produce decision-making reports for the Marketing team.
Project Overview & Goals
- Join the Marketing department to drive the growth of flagship programs such as Hackathons and Certifications.
- Transition the acquisition and engagement approach toward an automated, data-driven strategy targeting 10,000 active participants.
- Deliver repeatable funnels and automation that scale across Pan-African tech ecosystem initiatives.
- Provide clear KPIs, dashboards and recommendations to iterate on campaigns and ambassador programs.
Requirements & Desired Skills
- Strong knowledge of Digital Marketing, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics practices.
- Experience with SEO/SEA and automation tools such as Zapier and Mailchimp.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for analysis and reporting.
- Prior experience in community management or launching digital products is preferred.
Tools, Tasks & Deliverables
- Implement and optimize transactional emailing, retargeting sequences and referral funnels.
- Build dashboards and daily monitoring reports tracking Traffic, Cost per Lead, Retention and other KPIs.
- Automate workflows between tools (e.g., Zapier integrations) and ensure campaign scalability.
- Deliver tested acquisition funnels, an ambassador program blueprint, and a roadmap toward automation.
