OFFICEBOT PFE

Project Overview

• Development of an internal delivery robot for offices, schools, and hotels.
• Complete simulation of the robot's operation in a multi-floor environment.

Technical Tasks

• Define the system components including a compact mobile base, secure container, and user interfaces.
• Model the robot and its environment using Gazebo/Ignition.
• Implement ROS2 along with SLAM/Nav2 for navigation, including floor maps, door passages, and obstacle avoidance.

Objectives

• Simulate multi-point missions and elevator logic using mock API/IO.
• Validate performance metrics such as mission time, success rate, and incident recovery.
• Design the overall architecture to ensure the robot can deliver documents, meals, and packages between different services and floors.
