Master 2 Internship in Optical Microscopy

Internship Overview

• Develop original test patterns for unlabeled optical microscopy.
• Work at the intersection of optical imaging and micro-nanofiber science.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nanofibers at LPMT, varying fiber diameter and composition.
• Use a Nanolive system and IRIMAS TDM setups to image samples.
• Develop image processing methods to quantify resolution.
• Improve image reconstruction methods for thick, multi-diffractive samples.
• Characterize optical properties of micro- and nanofibers.

Expected Skills

• Autonomy, resourcefulness, and creativity are essential.
• Strong analytical skills in Physics and Optics.
• Proficiency in computational skills (Matlab, C/C++, Python).
