Position: Researcher in Agroecology
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on the increasing adoption of cover crops in agroecological transition contexts.
- Investigate the potential ecosystem services provided by cover crops and their role in climate change adaptation.
- Analyze the challenges faced by cover crops, such as adverse seeding conditions and climate variability.
- Study the productivity and stability of diverse cover crop mixtures in response to climate uncertainties.
- Explore the interactions between agricultural practices, species assemblages, and environmental factors affecting cover crop productivity.
- Utilize statistical learning tools to analyze species-environment-management interactions crucial for crop productivity.
- Investigate the role of pedoclimatic contexts in modulating cover crop performance across diverse environments.
- Use innovative analytical approaches to highlight adaptation strategies for maximizing cover crop productivity and ecosystem services.
Requirements:
- Background in agroecology, agronomy, or related field.
- Experience with statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Strong understanding of cover crop management and ecosystem services.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research team.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting research findings and writing reports.
