9 Automated Intune Configuration Auditing, MDE Validation, and Proactive Remediation Pipeline PFE

Project Overview

• A platform that automates Microsoft Intune auditing by treating security policies as code.
• Uses PowerShell and the Microsoft Graph API to compare live settings against a perfect "Golden Standard" stored in a version-controlled system.
• Includes MDE (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint) validation and a proactive remediation pipeline to correct detected drifts.

Objectives & Tasks

• Design and implement automation to audit Intune configurations and detect drift versus the Golden Standard.
• Develop validation workflows for MDE and implement automated remediation actions using PowerShell and Graph API.
• Integrate version control (Git) for policies-as-code, and produce audit reports highlighting compliance gaps.

Technologies & Skills

• Core technologies: PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE).
• Required skills/areas: EDR, Compliance & Regulations, Scripting & Programming; experience with version control (Git) is expected.

Position Details & Profile

• Number of slots: 2.
• Duration: 4-6 Months.
• Profile: Bac + 5 (end-of-study project level).
• Expected work: implementation, testing, documentation of the auditing and remediation pipeline; possible collaboration with security/compliance teams.
