7 AI Engineer Intern PFE

About the role

• Position: AI Engineer Intern focused on designing and implementing an AI agent powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and integrating it into a web application.
• Location & Office: Hybrid (home/office) with on-site presence at El Ghazela Technopark, Tunis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy an AI agent leveraging LLMs for real-world use cases, ensuring reliable and useful outputs.
• Integrate the AI agent into a web application for seamless user interaction and collaborate with developers for smooth integration and scalability.
• Utilize AWS Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker to build, train, and optimize models; implement best practices for security, performance, and reliability in cloud environments.

Candidate profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, AI, or related fields and demonstrating strong foundations in AI/ML concepts and software development.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch; experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills; willingness to learn MLOps and deployment best practices is a bonus.

Toolkit & technologies you will use

• Programming & ML frameworks: Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn), XGBoost, SciPy, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• LLM & Cloud: Familiarity with Large Language Models, prompt engineering; AWS services including Bedrock, SageMaker, S3, EC2, Lambda, Glue.
• Web & deployment: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js for integration; version control with Git; data visualization with Matplotlib/Seaborn.
