Analyze the current supply chain structure to identify inefficiencies in transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance.
Map and formalize customs procedures and documentation standards to reduce lead times, minimize compliance risks, and improve overall logistics performance.
Main responsibilities (What you will do)
Conduct a comprehensive review of transportation workflows, warehousing operations, and distribution processes to detect bottlenecks and propose optimizations.
Map existing customs clearance procedures, list required documents, and formalize standardized checklists and templates to ensure compliance and streamline processing.
Quantify potential lead-time reductions and cost savings from proposed changes, and present prioritized recommendations to the Logistics department.
Collaborate with stakeholders across transport, warehousing and customs teams to validate findings and support implementation of pilot improvements.
Required expertise
Basic knowledge of Supply Chain & Logistics Management.
Understanding of customs regulations and international trade procedures (documentation, declarations, compliance risks).
Familiarity with transportation, warehousing, and distribution workflows and metrics.
