Create interactive or visual work instructions to reduce training time and assembly errors.
Focus on Digital Work Instructions (DWI) for assembly processes to improve operator guidance and quality.
What you will do
Analyze current industrial assembly processes and manufacturing workflows to identify points of failure and training bottlenecks.
Design and develop digital work instructions (interactive/visual) tailored to the assembly tasks and operator needs.
Implement the DWI on a chosen platform (examples: VKS, Tulip, Poka) and configure step-by-step guidance, images, videos, sensors or inline checks as needed.
Pilot the instructions on the shop floor, collect operator feedback and iterate to optimize clarity and usability.
Required Expertise / Skills
Knowledge of industrial assembly processes and manufacturing workflows.
Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Standard Work, Kaizen).
Familiarity with Digital Work Instructions (DWI) tools or platforms (e.g., VKS, Tulip, Poka...).
Ability to translate process knowledge into clear visual/interactive instructions and perform basic user testing with operators.
