Overview

  • Number of trainees: 1
  • Objective: Develop a mobile application that integrates the Telematic Card and AI system across all vehicle models to enable real-time monitoring, data analysis, and intelligent insights to enhance connectivity, performance, and user experience.
  • Department: R&D

Required expertise & technologies

  • Understanding of data processing, predictive modeling, and real-time analytics.
  • Experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn; ability to design and integrate AI models for vehicle performance analysis and user behavior insights.
  • Mobile development skills (iOS/Android or cross-platform frameworks), experience with telematics data protocols and APIs, and knowledge of secure data transmission.

Responsibilities & expected deliverables

  • Design and implement a mobile application front-end and back-end integration that consumes Telematic Card data in real time across multiple vehicle models.
  • Develop and integrate AI models for predictive maintenance, performance analysis, and user behavior insights; validate models with test datasets and implement real-time inference pipelines.
  • Implement data processing pipelines for telemetry, handle streaming data, ensure low-latency monitoring, and provide visualizations and alerts within the app.
  • Deliverables include a working mobile app prototype, documented AI models, data processing pipeline code, integration documentation for Telematic Card, and a final report/presentation to R&D.

Learning outcomes & competencies gained

  • Hands-on experience with vehicle telematics integration, real-time analytics, and deploying ML models for on-device or cloud inference.
  • Strengthened skills in machine learning model design, evaluation, and optimization for automotive use cases.
  • Experience working within an R&D environment on connectivity and user-experience improvements for automotive systems.
