Job description
Build a real-time observability system that monitors infrastructure 24/7 and alerts when problems happen. Collect metrics from servers, logs from applications, and traces across services. Implement intelligent alerting to reduce false positives and automatically create tickets in the service desk system. Stream metrics and logs to an analytics platform for deeper insights and reporting.
Tech stack and tools:
- Backend: Java/Spring Boot
- Frontend/mobile: TypeScript with Angular or React Native
- Databases: PostgreSQL/MongoDB
- Streaming and realtime: Kafka/WebSockets
- Observability: Prometheus, Grafana
Key deliverables:
- End-to-end data collection pipeline for metrics, logs, and traces
- Alerting rules and noise-reduction strategies
- Automated incident/ticket creation in the ITSM tool
- Grafana dashboards for operations and SRE teams
